Honor Bangladesh has officially launched the Guinness World Records–holding Honor X9c smartphone in the local market, branding it as “The Unbreakable Phone”. The device sets a new benchmark for durability and resilience in the mid-range category.
Known as “The Unbreakable Phone”, the Honor X9c earned its Guinness World Records recognition after a drop test involving the highest number of participants at once—264 people simultaneously dropped the handset from height to test its durability. Through this test, the smartphone has been recognised as one of the strongest devices to date.
Alongside exceptional durability, the phone offers maximum protection, long-lasting battery life, an impressive display, an advanced camera system, and a cutting-edge AI experience. Its design also reflects a refined, aesthetic appeal.
The Honor X9c features a new-generation anti-drop display, enabling it to withstand falls from heights of up to two metres without damage. Using ultra-tempered glass and a resistance shield, the smartphone is 166 per cent more durable than its predecessor, the X9b. It also includes a three-layer waterproof structure that provides 360-degree water protection, along with an IP65M dust-resistance rating.
The handset delivers class-leading battery capacity. The Honor X9c is equipped with a large 6,600mAh silicon-carbon battery. Thanks to its 66W fast-charging technology, the phone can charge from zero to 80 per cent in just 42 minutes, while a five-minute charge provides up to seven hours of additional battery life. Moreover, the device’s battery has secured first place in DXOMARK’s global battery test rankings. An armour-level protective coating further ensures improved energy management.
In photography, the Honor X9c features an AI-powered 108-megapixel ultra-sensing camera with a large 1/1.67-inch sensor and optical image stabilisation (OIS). This enables clear and sharp images, while the stabilisation technology ensures photos remain blur-free even if the user’s hands shake during shooting.
Speaking about the launch, Abdullah Al Mamun, Head of Business at Honor Bangladesh, said: “We are delighted to launch the Honor X9c in the local market. This is the most powerful smartphone we have produced so far. The device ensures outstanding durability and long battery life. The advanced camera technology of the Honor X9c sets a new benchmark in the smartphone industry. We believe users will appreciate its impressive features. We remain committed to delivering high-quality and durable products to our customers.”
The Honor X9c is available in Titanium Purple, Titanium Black, and Jade Cyan colour options. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at BDT 44,999 in the Bangladeshi market.
