Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan’s much-anticipated film Taandob is set to be released in cinemas this Eid-ul-Azha. Directed by Raihan Rafi, the film unveiled its teaser today as part of its promotional campaign—and Shakib has taken the internet by storm since its release. The teaser opens with a mysterious figure walking while holding a mask. Inside a large room, a group of masked individuals are seen armed with weapons. The masked gang then enters a building, takes people hostage, and is shown engaging in a direct confrontation with law enforcement. A voiceover delivers a message to the nation, declaring, “Taandob is coming,” while urging everyone to stay indoors. At one point, the leader of the masked gang—Shakib Khan—removes his mask. A brief glimpse of Jaya Ahsan is also shown. One particular dance move by Shakib in the teaser has drawn special attention. The 1-minute-30-second teaser has left not only fans but also netizens astonished, with excitement pouring into the comments. One wrote, “This Taandob will surpass Borbaad.” Rakib commented, “Fire.” Bijoy wrote, “Industry hit loading—Megastar has shaken everything.” Prem Chowdhury added, “Taandob has raised danger signal number 10 for all other films this Eid-ul-Azha.” Countless similar reactions continue to flood in. Many from the entertainment industry have also congratulated the team after watching the teaser. Actress Bubly shared the teaser and wrote, “Another Taandob is coming.” In Taandob, Shakib Khan stars opposite Sabilla Noor, marking her debut on the silver screen. The film is produced by Shahriar Shakil and is being made under the banners of Alpha-i and Kolkata-based SVF Entertainment.
